In this sixteenth week of pregnancy (a lot has happened since I last posted), I am still not eating normally and at times have to turn to things like saltines.
Saltines seem so medicinal. They are found in the crackers aisle but who actually eats them by choice? A cheap cracker option, I guess, but too flavorless to belong with the other options. I guess their use in soups and chili warrant them being with the other crackers.
They're incredibly cheap. Any why do they come in such huge boxes? They're like Epsom salt...most often found in large containers, as if it's consumed in bulk by households.
Saltines can either be comfortingly simple or excruciatingly bland. Try eating just one when you really aren't in the mood for one. It's the longest 3 bites (and ruminating chews) ever.
